Collection Scope: The pictures show our main town Honningsvåg, the other fishing villages in the area and the surrounding landscape. Several pictures show the North Cape plateau.

Geographic and Time Coverage: Our archive covers only the area of the North Cape municipality in Northern Norway. Five pictures are from 1936, the rest is from after the Second World War. Most of these pictures are from 1952/1953, some from the 70's. All pictures were taken by a pilot of the Widerøe's Flyveselskap og Polarfly AS, Oslo.
